Melee Weapon Rework
Street Rebels have changed the rules of how we use knives and other melee weapons.
This season all melee weapon stats will be standardized. Previously, players had to juggle various attributes like attack speed, damage radius, and base damage when selecting a melee weapon. This often led to an imbalance, where certain weapons outshone others, forcing players to stick to a narrow set of options to stay competitive.
With the new system, all melee weapons now share the same baseline performance across these key parameters. This means you no longer have to weigh the pros and cons of different stats—your choice of weapon can now be driven purely by its appearance and your personal preference. The goal of this change is to foster a more balanced and fair gameplay environment, where success hinges on your skill and strategy, rather than the gear you wield.
WF$ Economics Rework
Another important change influences WF$ Economics and introduces a whole new way of earning additional event currency. We have covered it in a separate article, so jump right in to learn more.
Weapon and Gear Stat Changes
The autumn season reshaped the weapon meta, introducing diverse options for all classes and eliminating dominant "top-tier" choices. Moving forward, the team will expand the meta with new and revived weapons, nerf overperforming gear, and buff underused items to ensure balance and variety. The winter season marks the start of this approach, bringing the first major meta rebalance to create a more dynamic and competitive battlefield.
We are glad to announce that the following old weapons will get a second life in our game: FN SCAR-H, АN-94 Abakan, USAS-12, CZ Scorpion EVO3 A1, AS50, and Taurus Judge.
