Spooky scary… zombies and vampires send shivers down your spine! Get ready to lock and load, because this Halloween event, featuring the PvP mode "Corruption", promises thrills and chills! Arm yourself with terrifying weapons from the "Bloodthirst" series that will make your enemies scream! Fight for fang-tastic prizes, unlock unique achievements, and so much more. Go on and enter the fray... if you dare!

PvP Mode "Corruption"

A team of 16 players will enter the battlefield. One team member will be randomly chosen to become patient zero, the buffed cyborg. This cyborg's goal is to hunt down and take down the rest of the team, using brutal melee attacks to kill them and turn them to the dark side. As soon as a "human" player dies, they immediately rise again as a cyborg, strengthening the growing machine army. The clash between the remaining survivors and the relentless cyborg horde will be legendary! Tear your enemies to pieces with your bare robotic hands, or find an advantageous position to fend off the killer machines!

The SED is excluded from the fun, since androids and cyborgs don't really mesh well.

The event will take place on the thematic maps Halloween Motel and Halloween Widestreet.

Don't worry about stats and just have fun: deaths, kills, and accuracy won't count and show up on your profile!

Cyborgs

Once patient zero appears, there's no turning back. More and more humans will begin to turn into ruthless cyborgs that the remaining survivors will have to fight to save their humanity.

If no cyborgs are left in the game, some survivors will transform into patients zero. Once this transformation occurs, all remaining survivors' supplies, including ammo, health, armor, and consumables, get restored, while a power-up spawns somewhere on the map.

Cyborgs, while unable to wield weapons, make up for it with increased health and speed. They can easily tear through their enemies using bare hands. Additionally, a special implant allows them to track survivors through walls. If they don’t manage to kill a survivor within a certain time limit, they receive temporary buffs that stay active until the first survivors' death.

Survivors

The survivors' main objective is to stay alive until the end of the match. To improve their odds of survival, they can collect power-ups of the Juggernaut, Gunslinger and Pyro that appear on the map.

These power-ups significantly increase their chances of making it through, offering different advantages based on the type they find. Survivors must remain vigilant and use these boosts effectively if they hope to last until the end.

Survivors' Power-ups

Survivors will have three special power-ups during the match:

The Gunslinger offers a self-loading revolver that deals extra damage to cyborgs, making it the ideal tool for close-quarters combat.
The Pyro, armed with a powerful flamethrower and an arsenal of Molotovs, unleashes relentless flames upon enemies, dealing massive damage and igniting chaos. This power-up not only incinerates foes in close quarters but also spreads fire across the battlefield, ensuring that no one escapes unscathed.
The Juggernaut equips the survivor with a six-barrel machine gun and an explosive-laden suit, delivering immense firepower to turn the tide of the fight, especially in the final moments of a match.

Winning a round with the Juggernaut power-up grants the survivor a special bonus in the next round that increases their stamina and movement speed.

Who wins?

Cyborgs win if all the survivors turn into cyborgs.
Survivors win if they remain alive until the timer runs out.

During this event, the points are earned based on how well you play, not just if you win or lose. Survivors get points for how long they stay alive after the first cyborg shows up, and they earn even more if they stay "human" until the match ends.

Cyborgs, on the other hand, score points by taking out survivors, helping other cyborgs eliminate humans, and… well, just for being a cyborg!

Plus, as you complete sinister tasks throughout the game, you'll unlock eerie achievements that make the experience even more fun!

PvE part of the event

During Crimson Curse event, you can earn event points by completing the exclusive PvE contract. Don't miss out on the spooky excitement!

Maps

The event will take place on the thematic maps Halloween Motel and Halloween Widestreet. Unexplainable sounds will keep you on edge, as sudden movements in the shadows make your heart race. The chilling, Halloween-themed maps will ensure that every step feels like a horror scene, where danger lurks in the most unexpected places. Get ready for a scare!

Event Screen

On the event screen, you'll see a progress bar with three check-points. A new check-point will unlock at the beginning of the event and at the start of the second and third week of the event.

By completing the event contracts, you'll earn event points and fill in the progress bar. Once your progress reaches a check-point, you'll get a thematic reward:

Nosferatu mark for 700 event points,
Moonlight stripe for 1,000 event points,
Vampire charm for 1500 event points.

Event Showcase with a Progress Bar

Just a heads-up: the event store is no longer available for this event. Instead, you'll find all the items in the progression showcase.

How does the showcase work?

Use the button to refresh products on the showcase. To activate this feature, use the event currency.
The showcase refreshes automatically every 24 hours.
Each time you manually refresh, you'll fill up a progress bar. When that bar hits 100%, you'll get a special offer, allowing you to choose one valuable item as a treat!
Once you pick your item, the other special offers will disappear, and the progress bar will reset. Don't worry: you can fill it up again to get another offer! There's no limit to how many offers you can receive.
If you’re running short on currency, you can buy some. You can get packs of 300, 800, 2200, or 5000 black market coins from the event store to help you get the items you want!

After the event ends, all black market coins in your account will disappear. Make sure to spend all your coins in time!

Event Contracts

Want to earn even more currency? No problem! Complete event contracts to boost your coin stash. With all those extra coins, you'll have plenty to treat yourself to the event exclusives!

What are the event rewards?

After you collect all the cards, you’ll unlock weapons from the "Bloodthirst" series. This includes the Kord-5.45, Browning Cynergy CX, CSV-9, SKS FAB, Taurus Raging Hunter, and a stiletto knife.

Device Skins

You’ll also get special camouflage for the adrenaline syringe and the M18 Claymore mine to help you in battle. Get ready to power up your arsenal!

Charms and Achievements

Unlock exclusive achievements by eliminating enemies with weapons from the new "Bloodthirst" series. Also, don’t forget to grab a spooky badge from the event showcase to show everyone that you are ready to shed blood!
